To You, a Ballad

15 Sep

Prologue:

The meeting was brief but it left a spark
A fire that would roar and go out of control
The drone knows the queen bee would be the death of him
But he courts and teases for that one orgasm.

You make me feel like queenbee and you the drone
You know we shouldn’t be but we can’t leave we alone

The thin line, blurred will be the death of we

The first meeting was brief but it left a spark
Love should be happy and clean but I feel the dark

The thin line, blurred will be the death of we

Not even the distance, six thousand is quite a digit
Could stop the fire of emotions. okay,I admit it

The thin line blurred will be the death of we

So let’s enjoy this while it lasts, this whacthamacallit
Cos soon it might be gone but then we done did it

The thin line blurred will be the death of we

Epilogue:

And then drone and queenbee in a face to face
The courtship has ended, they’ve been saved by grace
Not you not this time, let this fade away
Cos when true love cometh, it’ll be here to stay

Dedicated to all who have found themselves in loving someone they shouldn’t.

Arise, my love, my beautiful one and come away ~ Songs of Solomon 2:13b ESV

*drying tears* this is so touching. I dedicate it to myself 😐 The line is really blurry but I don’t mind crossing it and again and again.
